How the Open Manifesto is organized and operates.
The Open Manifesto is established as an independent non-profit organization (registered association in the Czech Republic). Its statutes define how the organization operates, how decisions are made, and how its independence is maintained.

Purpose
The purpose of the association is to contribute to the development of human rights thinking, systemic understanding, and long-term societal responsibility.

- Supporting education and awareness
Independence
The Open Manifesto is an independent initiative. It does not align with any political party, ideology, or commercial interest. The integrity and direction of the work cannot be influenced by donors or external entities.
Governance
The association is managed according to Czech law. Key decisions are made in line with:
- The purpose of the organization
- Long-term integrity of the project
- Responsibility toward its participants and contributors
Funding principles
The project is supported primarily by individuals. Funding is used for:
- Publishing and translation
- Outreach and community development
- Operational and technical infrastructure
The organization does not accept funding that would compromise its independence.
Participation
Participation is open. People can engage by:
- Reading and sharing the manifesto
- Signing as signatories
- Contributing proposals and ideas
Participation does not create formal membership obligations.
